Dua Lipa Pranks Shoppers With Help From Ellen DeGeneres – WATCH
Turns out, Dua Lipa’s lyrics aren’t just fun to sing, they’re also good for pranking. Ellen DeGeneres asked Dua Lipa to help her prank a few unsuspecting shoppers. No surprise, it’s a lot of fun to watch.
It might be a new year, but there are no new rules for Ellen, who is still up to her old tricks. In a new episode of her talk show, DeGeneres asked Dua Lipa and her talk show’s writer Lauren to head over to the World Market in Los Angeles to strike up conversations with unsuspecting customers.
An in-disguise Dua Lipa messed with shoppers by responding to them only using lyrics from her songs “New Rules,” “One Kiss,” and “Don’t Start Now.” Fitting lines like, “Did a full 180, crazy / Thinking ’bout the way I was / Did the heartbreak change me? Maybe / But look at where I ended up” into a conversation was easier than one might have assumed. But, Dua Lipa trying to make polite chit chat with a complete stranger using the opening line of “Something in you, lit up heaven in me” is a real sight to behold.
