AMC Theaters Is Launching An On-Demand Service

Everyone seems to have a streaming service these days, and AMC is jumping on board. CNN explains that AMC Theatres On Demand will be a digital movie service where Stubs loyalty program members can rent or buy films. "Members will be able to download new films once they've completed a run in theaters, and will have access to a library of older films."

There will be over 2,000 films to choose from, from major studios like Disney and Universal. The price for rentals will be between $3 and $5.99, and to movies will be for sale for $9.99 to $19.99.

AMC adds that there will be on subscription required to use this service.
