Billboard Releases ‘The Top Songs of Summer 2019’ List

Summer of 2019 is officially coming to a close, but it can forever be remembered with the 20 tracks that Billboard has deemed The Songs of The Summer. Coming in at No.1, and at no surprise, is Lil Nax X Feat. Billy Ray Cyrus with “Old Town Road.” Coming in at No.2 is Billie Eilish with “Bad Guy.” Khalid is No.3 with “Talk.”
Also part of the Top 10 is Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber, Lizzo, Camilla Cabello and Shawn Mendez, Jonas Brothers, Post Malone, Chris Brown and Drake, and DaBaby.
Billboard explains that “The 20-position Songs of the Summer chart tracks the most popular titles based on cumulative performance on the weekly streaming-, airplay- and sales-based all-genre Billboard Hot 100 from Memorial Day through Labor Day (this year encompassing charts dated June 8 through Sept. 7).”
