The theme for the 2019 Met Gala has been announced, and honestly, I'm totally confused.
Vogue announced the theme for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's 2019 Costume Institue exhibit, which is the same theme the Met Gala uses.
The official title is "Camp: Notes on Fashion" and is a tribute to author Susan Sontag's 1964 essay Notes on Camp.
Every year since 1995, Anna Wintour - editor of Vogue - co-chairs the event and picks who gets to join her as co-chairs for the year. For 2019, she has picked Lady Gaga, Harry Styles, and Serena Williams.
The next Met Gala will take place on May 6, 2019, and the exhibit will run May 9-September 8, 2019.
