According to TMZ, the former 'Operation Repo' star was found deceased by his roommate.
Police and medics were called to Lopez's Los Angeles apartment shortly after 8 p.m. on Sunday evening.
When they arrived on scene, they determined Lopez was suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Sadly, he was pronounced dead.
It is believed that a note was found in the apartment.
In addition to his time on 'Operation Repo,' Lopez had other TV and movie roles as well.
His death comes after several other notable suicides.
