A custody battle has been brewing for a while now between Meeks and his ex wife, Melissa.
According to TMZ, Jeremy has received primary custody of the child, in exchange for giving Melissa a check estimated to be in the six figure range.
The original custody agreement seemed to be in favor of Melissa, who had custody of Jeremy Jr. 70 percent of the time.
Now, the new agreement flips the original custody deal, meaning Melissa will only have Jeremy Jr. 30 percent of the time.
Perhaps, Jeremy is in a better financial state to provide for the child than Melissa is, but the six figure check just makes this new agreement seem sad -- Especially considering there is a dollar amount associated with the change in custody.
As you recall, Meeks and his girlfriend, Chloe Green, recently welcomed a child together. Now, Jeremy Jr. and his half brother will get to spend a lot more time together.
