‘Infinity War’ Baddie Thanos Demands Your Secrecy In This Matter
Between Thanos and The Russo Brothers, I would keep your mouth shut if I were you.
Marvel Studios is always pretty clever about things – but after the success of ‘Black Panther’ director Ryan Coolger‘s note to fans, Thanos has teamed up with The Russo Brothers to silence the true evil in this world: People who spoil Marvel movies for other viewers.
The note reads to press tour attendees that they will be screening limited amounts of the film to the press, and the film won’t be shown in its entirety till it’s global release. Furthermore, they ask that “when you see Infinity War, in the coming months, that you maintain that same level of secrecy so that all fans can have an equal experience when they watch it for the first time.”
The closing says “Don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you.”
As a victim of being spoiled on ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens,’ I absolutely love this note from The Russo Brothers. Thank you for that. We know that it may not stop all the evil people in the world who don’t like fun and want to ruin things for everyone – but it’s the thought that counts, and hopefully true fans will keep their mouths as closed as the time Kaecilius was trapped in that contraption that completely disabled him and his mouth in ‘Doctor Strange.’
