Kendrick Lamar and Sam Smith Set To Headline GRAMMYs
Kendrick Lamar is looking to gain up to 7 Awards, and gosh did we miss Sam Smith’s melodies.
Along with U2 as the top bills, Elton John will be also performing while scoring the 2018 President’s Merit Award. They linked him up with Miley Cyrus for a performance, but honestly, we’d have billed him with Sam Smith instead.
The previously announced performers include Alessia Cara, Cardi B, Childish Gambino, Daddy Yankee, Luis Fonsi, Kesha, Khalid, Lady Gaga, Little Big Town, Logic, Patti LuPone, Bruno Mars, Pink, Ben Platt and SZA.
Hopes? That Cardi B and Bruno Mars will perform “Finesse (Remix),” and that Kesha will somehow find a way to collaborate with Lady Gaga in some female solidarity. Also, the GRAMMYs would be missing out if they didn’t somehow get SZA and Kendrick Lamar to perform their ‘Black Panther’ song “All The Stars.”
The GRAMMYs will air live on CBS, kicking off the part at 7:30 on January 28.
