BTS Start Out 2018 By Breaking Another Record

February just started, and the boys of BTS have already broken a record.

Back in September, the boys released their single "Mic Drop" and followed it with a Steve Aoki remix of the song featuring Desiigner. The song peaked at #28 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and has already sold over 500,000 copies in the US.

For a Korean boyband that's just now starting to get recognition in the states, this is a huge accomplishment - but that's not all.

"Mic Drop" just became the groups first Gold single in the United States, which makes it the first single by a Korean group to ever be certified Gold in the US.

They supposedly have new music coming out this year, so I can't wait to see what's next for BTS.
